The Career Planning and Adult Development Network
The Career Planning and Adult Development Network is a non profit organization that provides training, a newsletter, a quarterly journal for career development practitioners, and access to career and work life assessment resources.
Career Directors International
Career Directors International, described as “the career professional’s one-stop solution,” is a professional organization representing career professionals internationally.
National Career Development Association
The National Career Development Association is a division of the American
Counseling Association. Check out their website for a range of resources,
including conference information, web magazine Career Convergence
a career bookstore, and information about training opportunities.
The International Coach Federation
This is a major professional organization and credentialing body for coaches worldwide. Members have access to a wide range of resources including a special interest group for career coaches that meets regularly for professional development purposes.
The Job Loss Recovery Program
The Job Loss Recovery Program, developed by Dr Lyn Joseph, is a scientifically proven program to help individuals get back to work more quickly by learning effective ways to manage the stress of job loss, develop resilience, and regain confidence.
